Specialty Old Fashioneds

HEY FRIENDS. We wanted to give you guys all the info you need to re-create the cocktails we made this past 2nd Friday! We hope you were able to come in and have one because they were delishhhhh!  If you did not, or if you just want to have another, find the recipes below.

SPECIALTY OLD FASHIONEDS || SPONSORED BY CELLAR WINE & SPIRITS

BLACKBERRY SAGE OLD FASHIONED

.75 oz blackberry sage simple syrup

1.5 oz bourbon

ice

bitters

garnish- blackberry and/or sage

CARDAMOM OLD FASHIONED

.75 oz cardamom simple syrup

1.5 oz bourbon

ice

bitters

garnish- we used a sprig of rosemary

TO MIX:

In a rocks glass, add ice, the simple syrup, and bourbon.  Stir with bar spoon.  Top with a few splashes of bitters. Add garnish.  Drink. Enjoy. Repeat.

We know this is not your typical old fashioned. The typical old fashioned takes some muddling not to mention forethought [do you have the cherries, oranges, etc.]. And although we love a fancy cocktail we also love a cocktail you can throw together with items you just have stocked in your bar. We simplified the old fashioned process by using our most favorite simple syrups from Pink House Alchemy.  Pssst. we have these available for purchase in our store [they are packaged in awesome glass bottles and make a great gift paired with bar ware or bar supplies]  but you can make your own simple syrups too if you would rather go that route.  If you are looking for a cocktail that is seriously a no-brainer and is made in a snap - this. is. it.
